Whiteboard

You won’t find any design secrets here but there is a new movie I am very interested to see this year that may shed some light on aspects of the design process we go through here at HP. While I would have spliced in some newer and fresher faces, the cast of designers is impressive and should represent a good cross section of the variety of design we have today.

“objectified is a feature-length independent documentary about industrial design. it’s a look at the creativity at work behind everything from toothbrushes to tech gadgets. it’s about the people who re-examine, re-evaluate and re-invent our manufactured environment on a daily basis. it’s about personal expression, identity, consumerism, and sustainability. it’s about our relationship to mass-produced objects and, by extension, the people who design them.”
