Good things happen in threes

This has been a good week, and it’s only Tuesday.

First, we hit a huge milestone: pre-orders of the Envy 133 have started shipping, and people are stoked about receiving them. If your Envy has arrived, don’t keep it to yourself. We’ve set up a Flickr Group: Envy In the Wild: Voodoo Envy 133, where you can post your pics, but you can also post them here on the message boards. I can’t wait to hear stories about people showing off their Envy to their friends. If you’re Envy hasn’t arrived yet, don’t despair—orders are quickly coming off the production line and you’ll get yours soon.

Secondly, we’ve got ourselves a new blogger on the community. Mark Solomon, who many of you know as the award-winning guru who played a key role in designing the Envy, the Voodoo Omen and the HP Blackbird 002, has agreed to regularly hop onto the blog and share his thoughts on design and more. He’s a great guy, and I look forward to his contributions on the site.

So, to make this the ultimate trifecta, there’s also this other thing we’re working on right now. Actually, on second thought—forget it. I’ll save it for another day. This week’s good enough as it is.

congrats!! i was realy looking forward on looking at the first shipped laptops and impressions.

one coment tough. i was on the chat today with someone called AB, i wanted to know if is there any way on getting any smaller power brick ( compatible or voodoo branded ).. i will never use the network adapter, but will use the brick every day. i dont want to carry a lot of weight ( which is why im buying this laptop in the first place) all i got was OK as an answer and he/she terminated the chat. Maybe i can get a professional answer here. congrats rahul.

Oh you tease! Can't wait to see what's in store for the upcoming voodooDNA and straight up voodoo products.

Cool notebook...but I think the deal breaker for many will be the size of the power brick! Why create a thin, lightweight laptop for mobility only to have it weighed down by a huge power brick? I don't understand this!

You can buy a lightweight power adapter that does not have the wifi in it. Please see this thread:
