Back around CES time, I clued you guys into a monitor that sounds almost as good as it looks. The ENVY 27 Display with Beats Audio is more than just a monitor. We’ve been talking about touch a lot. On your smartphone and tablet. Your TouchSmart desktops…and more recently, laptops. Sometimes, though, a mouse is still the best way to get around your computer. Now, combine the recycled plastic from 280 million printer cartridges with 2 billion water bottles and you get enough raw materials for more than one billion new HP print cartridges. Not to mention a lot less waste dumped into landfills.

Last week, I jumped at the chance to talk with music industry legend, Young Guru. As an influential audio engineer and DJ, we went into what happens developing an album’s sound. If I installed the SureSupply app, I probably wouldn’t be in the fix I’m in right now. An app on my phone would’ve warned me that I was low on ink, tell me the kind of cartridge I’d need to buy and then tell me the closest place I could snag it. Instead, I need to go out to a store in the morning.

I’m gonna spend a couple minutes talking about a service and tech that you will probably never even think of – HP’s Moonshot System. However, it will seriously impact companies and Web sites that you rely upon every day.
