Young Guru, HP and the “Era of the Engineer”

Drop the name “Young Guru” on anyone plugged into the music community – they know this guy is the real deal. Often credited for being the keeper of “The Sound of New York,” he’s the audio engineer behind almost every Jay-Z album recorded. He’s collaborated to help refine the sounds on countless albums with other artists.
