What's coming? Oh how I love a mystery...
ORIGINAL STORY:
Last year, as we announced the latest line of ENVY laptops and TouchSmart desktops, some….thing was lurking. Spectre. Rumors have been floating around the Web. A couple sites like Engadget and Mashable have already taken a moment to scrutinize the following video, but what the heck is Spectre?
While this video is the first “official” taste of what Spectre is about, let me give you my initial vibe. After all, I’ve seen Spectre up close and personal. I didn’t get much in the way of playtime with it yet – it was mostly an “ooh” and “ahh” session as it sat on someone’s workbench. No pictures allowed; no hardcore details that I’m able to share with you. Yet. What I can tell you right now: I think that for a [REDACTED] laptop, there were some cool design choices made. Unfortunately, that’s all I can say. Yeah, I know. I’m a tease.
But keep checking back. Soon, you’ll be hearing more about Spectre – and I’ll be here to give you the skinny on how it’s made and what makes Spectre tick.
