DNSChanger has been lurking around PCs for years, but there are still hundreds of thousands of computers that could be infected. Make sure that yours aren’t among them.
If you’ve gotten dubious emails in the past warning you about stuff like this – I get it, I have as well. Don't click the links in the email, if you don't want to. Go to a reputable news source like CNET and read about the DNSChanger...it'll give you links to the same places below.
Here's the deal. On every computer you have, go to this URL. http://www.dcwg.org/detect/
The main link to check here in the US is http://www.dns-ok.us
For some reason, the link didn't work for me when I ran a test right now….So scroll down and use another country's version of the test. (I went to Canada's version: http://www.dns-ok.ca/)
If you see a green message bar, your PC should be OK.
