#IWant what #IWant

There’s never a bad time to covet tech goodies. So, for no particular reason, other than that I can, I’ve decided to highlight some gadgets I’m dying to get my hands on. (It doesn’t hurt that a couple of these products are actually on sale right now.)

HP ENVY 14

One of my first gigs when I joined HP was to help launch our original 15 inch ENVY with Beats Audio. I got to play with one at the time, and I still use it today. Since then, we’ve integrated Beats Audio into a range of high-end HP notebooks and desktops (check out the whole family here).

That said, it’s definitely time for me to upgrade, and I have my eye on the HP ENVY 14 with Beats Audio. It features this rad etched metal-alloy chassis, can be configured with Core i5 or Core i7 processors and is nice, light travelling companion. Its funky brother, the HP ENVY 14 Beats Edition, is a hip alternative, and its cousins the HP ENVY 17 and HP ENY 17 3D are no slouches either.

Special Offer: Get 15% off and free shipping for any configured to order HP ENVY laptop from HP Shopping using the code: NBNV49777. Be fast though, this offer is limited to the first 450 coupons redeemed. Oh, and don’t forget to read the fun legal schtuff below.

Beats By Dre Detox Headphones

Speaking of Beats Audio, it sounds the best when used with high-end headsets like the ones from our friends at Beats By Dre. I’ve owned – and loved – several Beats By Dre headsets. I started out with the Studios, bought the Tour in-ear buds for jogging and recently graduated up to the Pros, which have changed my life…in the figurative sense. I’ve had so many people ask me about them at coffee shops, on flights and even right here in the hallways of HP.

My new love is the Limited Edition Detox Series headphones, partially because I know they'll sound awesome and partially because they just look bad ass. Enjoy the eye candy below...

HP dv7t

Where I love the HP ENVY 14 for its mobility and sound quality, I love the HP dv7t for its big 17 inch screen and quad speakers and triple bass sub-woofer. This is definitely a little monster that I could rock out with in my home office.

Laptop Magazine gave it 4 out of 5 stars in a review recently. Our customer reviews on HP are similarly positive. Personally, I think it and the smaller HP dv6t are two of our best value-for-price products on the market right now, and they just got a little sweeter…

Special Offer: Instant savings of $375 off a configure-to-order HP Pavilion dv6t Quad or dv7t Quad and free shipping. More legal schtuff below.

Trash Amps

Every so often you see a toy that you know is not at all practical, but you want it anyway. Trash Amps, recycled soda cans retrofitted with a mini guitar amp, are that toy for me.

I fell instantly in love, even though I already own several guitar amps, both large and small, that would literally blow these out of the water.

All right, I'll start this off with a couple things:

A 4G LTE mobile hotspot

A 4k passive 3D laser illuminated RED projector

A new cell phone on Sprint (a true unlimited data service = a good thing!)

A Tricked-Out TouchSmart 610 for gaming at home

"      "         "     Pavilion dm1    "     gaming on-the-go

A copy of Battlefield 3 (just putting it out there)...

.....oh, yeah, and #Iwant dinner. I'll add more to this later! nom!

Mark,

Where can I be put on my order for the next release of HP Touchpad

by brianguy on ‎10-14-2011 01:10 PM

so... can I buy that new Touchpad yet?  curious why isn't it on this list...

by Maggiesmome on ‎10-17-2011 05:16 AM

I see (on Ebay) that several people received Touchpads last week. I think it stinks that they are just buying them so they can turn around and resell them with an outrageous markup. I am someone that has been wanting a Touchpad since seeing it on QVC earlier this year. How can I get on the mailing list to get one?
