If you live in NYC or the ATL right about now, there's a free party coming your way. HP and Loopt are kicking off a series of “Discover the Music Around You” parties this holiday season, starting next week. Show up at the right club, you can get VIP access and snag some sweet perks just for knowing when and where to be.
Loopt -- the guys that help you find out what's going on around you -- and HP want to "#UnlockTheSound" (Yes, I need to now speak in hashtag-ese), by bringing you some exclusive hookups. HP will be giving away free UMG tunes and other awesome gear. A hint on the latter: One prize rhymes with Shlaptop.
So if you're in New York or Atlanta, show up! Everything you need to know is below:

NEW YORK

Where: Kiss & Fly; 409 West 13th Street New York, NY 10014-1104
What: The first party will be at Kiss & Fly in New York's Meat Packing district. This high energy, euro-style club caters to the jet-setting crowd, bringing a distinctive nightlife destination to Manhattan. Elaborate shows including fire acts, aerial acrobats, stilted performances, fire throwers and more, makes it more of a metro-tastical circus nightclub. Just don't let the fire acts get near your drinks.
· MUSIC: Featured music will include a sneak preview of the new album from Diddy-Dirty Money, “The Last Train to Paris,” as well as Diddy-Dirty Money giveaways.
· PLAYTIME: On-site, there will be free food, great music, an HP e-printer photo wall and an HP Envy laptop with on board Beats Audio demonstrated at interactive stations, where attendees can play with the technology, print pictures and listen to music.
· NEED TO KNOW: First 100 guests get in free. Regular club cover charge applies after this. Look sharp as there is a dress code here -- and in most of New York, for that matter. Trust me on this one. Must be at least 21 years old to attend.
ATLANTA

· MUSIC: Featured music will include sneak previews of the new Ghostface Killah album, “The Apollo Kids,” as well as some new album releases from Island Def Jam records by NeYo, Rihanna, Kanye, Redman and Duffy.
· PLAYTIME: On-site, there will be free food, great music, an HP e-printer photo wall and an HP Envy laptop with on board Beats Audio demonstrated at interactive stations, where attendees can play with the technology, print pictures and listen to music.
