Commercial Break: HP Parkour

For those of you who don’t know what parkour is, let me break it down like this: Awesome urban running where incredibly agile people can pull off impossible acrobatic moves while running through urban settings. I’m talking city streets, roof tops….and apparently offices where people use HP computers. During my daily Youtube patrolling, I came across this fairly sweet spoof of office life, parkour-style for HP computers from around 2006.

You know, I love watching stuff like this in action, so I’ll just shut up right now. Click the link!

Will an HP Elitebook make you that nimble? Yeah, I know that was a bit of stretch, but you can’t blame a guy for trying, right?

The computer in question that was promoted in that commercial was the HP Compaq nx6325. The highlights of that machine included AMD's Turion X2 dual-core 64-bit processor and a sturdy chassis that could probaby handle some parkour moves of its own. Or, as PCMag.com's Cisco Cheng put it when he reviewed it back in the day: "The HP Compaq nx6325 is a very good machine for any performance junkie, thanks to a dual-core 64-bit processor and great battery life. It's a very good value for the money."

If you’ve ever pulled off some cool moves with your computer gear (without breaking it) let me know in the comment box below.
