I’m excited about the future of HP’s PC business. For those few of you who might have missed it, HP announced Thursday that it’s exploring alternatives for its PC business which could include spinning off the business to public shareholders, selling it or keeping it inside HP.
The changes are meant to keep HP at the pinnacle of competitiveness in an industry where the only constant is change. I’m proud to be part of a company dedicated to success, even when that company has to make tough decisions.
I’m also one of thousands of employees and many partners who know we have a massive opportunity in the PC industry. Whether or not PSG takes a divergent path from HP, here are some interesting factoids:
Our competitors might say to send us flowers. I say bring on the champagne. I am proud of our successes to date, and bullish about the future. In the meantime, it’s all systems go for us. Manufacturing, support, sales and other operations remain in place and continue to function.
