The Next Bench Story

A $40 Billion Start-up

by Administrator August - last edited September

HP announced today via a series of ads that it hopes to spin off its PC business into a separate company. The new organization would be a $40 billion business with the agility and freedom of a start-up. That’s an exciting prospect.

But enough talk. Check out the sample ad below. Keep in mind that nothing has been confirmed except HP’s preference for spinning off the business. If you’d like more information on the topic take a look at www.hp.com/pcmatters.

I thought HP became number one in the PC biz when Carla purchased Compaq against the HP families wish.
