I love finding new ways to display photos, and I also love printing on burlap! A few easy steps and you can create a beautiful frame with loads of texture and style. The best part is that a handy clip makes it super easy to change out photos!
Paint an even layer of decoupage on one side of the masonite and also on the back side of the scrapbooking paper.
Place the scrapbook paper onto the masonite. Smooth with a brayer. Allow to completely dry.
Iron an 8 1/2” X 11” piece of Wonder-under onto the back of a piece of burlap, following the manufacturer’s directions.
Once ironed, trim away excess burlap leaving an 8 1/2” X 11” piece. Download the LOVE template. Place the burlap into the printer burlap side facing down. Print. It is super easy to add your own personal touch to this project by printing out a word or name that is meaningful to you. Center your letters at the lower third of the page. Use this love download as a guide.
I love how it prints so beautifully!
Peel away the paper from the back of the burlap. Glue the burlap to the masonite board. Allow to dry.
Use a small screw to attach the clip to the top of the board.
Put the 5x7 Photo Paper into your printer. Adjust the printer so that the tray holds the 5x7 paper firmly in the center. In your printer settings, set your paper to 5x7 inches. Then print!
