Teamsite 8.2 AWS Ec2 install Linux RHEl 7 Preview Issue

Guys I am after lot of issues able to install Teamsite 8.2 on AWS EC2. Now my only issue is that all the files are giving me 403 fobidden acces for jpg,css,js files.

I have gone through all the manuals and forums and found no solutions.

I have reached this level if I allow directory browsing in apache I can browse till http://35.161.149.91/iw-mount/

but after that I get forbidden access.

in putty i can see default store is owned by root, is there anyway to change this owner? By deactivate the store I am able to do it but on activate it goes back to root.

total 2
dr-xr-xr-x. 5 root           root 512 Jan 17 02:57 default
dr-xr-xr-x. 5 root           root 512 Jan 17 02:57 iwadmin
dr-xr-xr-x. 5 root           root 512 Jan 30 12:17 internet

Thanks in advance.

Re: Teamsite 8.2 AWS Ec2 install Linux RHEl 7 Preview Issue

The issue is not that the directories are owned by root, but rather the virual directories cannot be read by Apache.

I noticed similar and kept changing things until it started working.

Check your httpd.conf,  I needed something like this:

<Directory "/iwmnt">
Options All
Require all granted
</Directory>
Alias /iw-mount/ /iwmnt/

Also not certain if iptables and selinux are messing you up, but I turned them off. I also made the Apache user a TS user so there was no issue there.

try:

curl localhost:81/iw-mount/default/main/

when that doesn't return an error, then you are good.

Thank you , Thank you, Thank you Andy. I was suffering for 3 days. I did both fo the things you suggested.

Changed httpd.conf and disable selinux and it worked.

Thanks again
