5 customer experience insights & keynotes via HP Engage 2015

Keynotes at HP Engage 2015.JPGHappy New Year!  Before the holidays, I shared our series of customer case study videos from HP Engage 2015. They showcase fantastic examples of how our customers are delivering innovative customer engagement.

 

Today, I’m excited to share keynote replays from HP Engage. Each of our product leaders – from HP Hub, HP TeamSite, HP Exstream, HP Qfiniti, and HP Aurasma – took the stage to share business visions, product innovation, and key trends in customer experience.

 

Here are five takeaways and stats that I found particularly insightful during the keynotes:

 

  1. Why is digital transformation so important for today’s enterprises? Legacy technologies aren’t built for the modern age. Organizations need to take their existing infrastructure and adapt it for the modern era in order to compete with the likes of Facebook, Google and Amazon, companies that were all born digital.   2. Even in a multichannel world, some things remain the same for customer communications: Business users need control, presentation matters, and it needs to be scalable. More here.

 

  1. Mobile is a priority for 77% of enterprises, but only 38% of pages are actually mobile ready. Why? The average enterprise manages 268+ different pages and experiences. More here.

 

  1. The contact center and customer service are at the core of the customer experience. Even other channels, such as websites, email, and self-service, end up deflecting customers to the call center. More here.

 

  1. The shift to mobile forces us to change the way we communicate with our customers. Augmented reality takes the best of traditional marketing – tangibility – and makes it measurable, shareable, and engaging. More here.
