I have a client that is reguesting an ICC profile for the media we are using to print thier work. They would like to soft proof their images on thier end before they send them to us.
Has anyone benn able to get the ICC profile from their printer?
Any help would be a great help.
After a media preset has been created on a current low-volume Latex printer, and the media has synchronized with the RIP, the ICC Profile will be uploaded from the printer to the RIP. The location depends on which RIP is being used.
Once the ICC has been uploaded to the RIP, it can be installed into the operation system (Windows or Mac). From there, you can configure applications like Photoshop for soft proofing.
