Think Fast

Last night was Fast Company's 6th annual Masters of Design event at the Chelsea Art Museum in New York, which brought together 300+ of the most innovative minds that impact a multitude of different industries. It was a great pleasure to be a part of the event on behalf of Hewlett-Packard and to meet the creative minds that are involved in the design of products, buildings, brands and more.

In addition to showcasing some of our own innovative products like the new HP Envy products (including the Envy 13, Envy 15 and Envy 15 Beats edition), it was exciting to hear the talks from the 2009 Masters of Design at the event. Listen to Stacy Wolff give an overview of HP’s design philosophy here and some video from the event here.

I was especially excited to see David Butler, the vice president of global design for The Coca-Cola Company. He also brought his innovative ‘freestyle’ coke machine. This magic machine can make up to 100 different Coca-Cola variants. You can pick from traditional flavors to noncarbonated beverages, energy drinks, you name it.

What other designs and innovations are you excited about?  As always, I hope you send your thoughts and opinions over in the HP Envy forums.
