GRE: More than keeping the lights on

GRE helps HP “win” by contributing to the success or our company through its industry leading real estate strategies in workplace design, energy, sustainability, facility management, planning and services; delivering modern, flexible and green workplaces for a complex and multi-faceted corporate real estate portfolio.

Our lean organization is led by HP Vice President Jill Zunshine, a Purdue and Washington University graduate, who drives GRE with grounded experience in the tech, telecom, and banking industries. In partnership with her leadership team, Jill guides and challenges our organization through forward-thinking ingenuity to deliver a workplace that meets HP’s needs beyond the present.

Joining GRE means university hires have the opportunity to get involved, right from the start.  We have a number of global, functional teams that Make it Matter at HP:

  • Portfolio & Service Delivery
  • Real Estate Strategy & Planning
  • Construction, Engineering, Project Management & Workplace Strategy
  • Energy & Sustainability
  • Integrated Facilities Management
  • Process & Information Management
  • Capabilities

By understanding the trends and influences that shape the way we work, GRE directly impacts the success of HP.

Why Work in GRE?

If you are the kind of person who knows you’re destined for great things, we want you here.  Your fresh thinking, plus our dedication to developing talent, is a powerful one. HP Global Real Estate is the place to realize your full potential, where we partner with you to shape the future and your career.

The diverse workstreams of Global Real Estate enable us to seek a broad range of talent, allowing us to choose the best from degree programs in engineering, real estate, sustainability, project management, business, and finance. This makes us successful.

Global Real Estate’s Accelerated Career Experience (ACE) program, launched by the GRE Capabilities team earlier in FY13, enables you to immediately contribute to HP. Over an 18-month period, university hires gain experience in 3 to 4 job rotations across GRE before being placed in a long-term role fitting your skills and interests. You could easily be a part of expanding a site, planning space, forecasting financials, developing strategy and training, engaging communications, and more.

GRE employees enjoy working with, and teaching, university students and graduates. Our Capabilities Team, dedicated to making you successful, offers a welcoming onboarding experience; ensuring you have a mentor/buddy every step of the way.
