Is your small or medium-sized business (SMB) looking for ways to increase productivity and lower operational costs? The additions HP’s printer group has made to its Business Apps portfolio help SMBs improve efficiency, boost productivity and receive critical information automatically. These new offerings add to the new SMB-focused infrastructure solutions HP announced last week to help customers thrive in a mobile world.
HP Business Apps are free to download for users of HP printers and provide easy access to popular and useful content developed by leading companies around the world. The pre-formatted content is delivered directly to your HP Web-enabled printer or MFP, with no PC required.
Some HP Business Apps, like Google Docs, can help your business improve efficiency by allowing you to scan and save documents directly to the cloud. Others, like the Shoeboxed apps, can boost productivity by supporting scan-to-Internet storage to simplify workflows, allowing users to scan documents such as business receipts or business cards, save them in PDF format and automatically categorize them before uploading to Web storage accounts. Still others, like Rapid Buyr, are Scheduled Delivery (SD) apps, which allow you to set up your own personal schedule to print the content from the app automatically to your HP printer on set days/times, if desired.
Several new apps have been added to our expanding catalog of Business Apps this year including:

From specialized templates and forms to industry newsletters delivered daily, Business Apps can help SMBs turn your HP LaserJet, HP Officejet or HP Officejet Pro into much more than a printer. Business Apps are compatible with most HP Web-enabled printers and multifunction printers (MFPs).
HP MFPs feature print, copy, scan and fax functionality—all with a single machine. HP Color MFPs allow you to create in-house marketing materials, print photos, or simply make a statement with their printing.
HP recently unveiled several new printers and MFPs that support HP Business Apps including: HP LaserJet Pro 300 Color M375 MFP, HP LaserJet Pro M401, HP LaserJet Pro 400 MFP M425, HP LaserJet Pro 400 color Printer M451dn, HP LaserJet Pro 400 Color M475 MFP, HP Officejet 6600 e-All-in-Ones and the HP Officejet 6700 Premium e-All-in-One
