Taking technology on the road is the norm for today’s small business person. While the newest business devices are both portable and durable, it won’t help you to have a notebook that fits in your carry-on if you can’t connect to the internet in the terminal.
That’s where HP DataPass comes in. DataPass is HP’s pay-as-you-go mobile broadband service that lets users connect to high-speed internet from anywhere, anytime. Whether you’re riding on the train to a meeting, in a hotel room or a coffee shop, your HP PC can connect to the high-speed broadband to keep you productive.
HP DataPass doesn’t come with any monthly contracts and you won’t have to hunt down “hotspots” to connect. It even comes with a free trial if you want to test it out. Better yet, if you have an HP DataPass account, you can get double the days and double the data for plans purchased in August. Below is a quick summary of the regular plans available:
To connect to HP Datapass, simply open the Connection Manager on your HP PC and click on “My Account.” To sign up or view your account online, visit the DataPass login page here.
Note: Plans start at time of purchase. An HP ProBook or HP EliteBook notebook with an integrated HP un2420 or un2430 Mobile Broadband Module and HP Connection Manager v4.1.22.1 or later is required.
